Ryan has been found, by a friend of Lucian. His fears are confirmed, and he is worse; staying in what he has been told is a 'hospital'.

He doesn't think he likes the word. He's been told Lucian really wants to see him, too, and though he's hesitant about being around so many people, he agrees to come. He even puts on actual clothing for the occasion; loose cotton pants that come to about mid calf and a baggy shirt, in muted greens and blues. He doesn't like the smell of the hospital, and the technology all around him makes him very nervous.

Ryan has not seen his friend Lucien for a while...and Ryan may not be worried except for the fact that he remembers his friend Lucien has heart trouble. So, Ryan is a very, very worried nymph.

He's been looking, as much as he can, as many places he feels he may be able to, and all that is happening is that he is getting more and more worried.

Dib's PINpoint drops him and Ryan into the Nexus Botanical Gardens. Fortunately it's away from the triffids.

Ryan takes a step back away from Dib, despite his song, worried about the effect his voice may have had on the young teenager but still pleased to see him.  "I haven't seen you in a while," he offers quietly.

Ryan lays draped over one of the lower branches in his tree. He feels the music that he wants to sing bubbling up, not just in his chest, but throughout his own body. There are leaves covering him, out of sight so he thinks, safe.

He starts to sing, something in his own curious language.

Ryan brings Dib to the gardens, still touching him, still nuzzling him, still making noises to make it known he's still wanting.

Moss is soft. It makes sense to lie down there so Ryan pulls Dib down with him*

Ryan shows Grint the way to the Nexus Gardens. He keeps his mouth bothering his neck because he's a terrible terrible man.

Ryan's in the Nexus Gardens in a pool, naked, scrubbing himself furiously. His fingernails are gnawed down to the skin and some are bleeding a little.

He's crying.

Grint was hurt. Because of me. He went after Dage and and he got hurt. Badly.

Vyshaan says I shouldn't blame myself, but I can't help it. This is why I didn't ask anyone to go after him because I didn't want anyone getting hurt. But he got hurt.

Ryan is, rather unsurpisingly, curled up in his tree. He's more miserable than usual, arms wrapped around his knees and face buried in said knees. He's trying rather obstinately not to cry hard, or at all, but a few tears leak out of his eyes. He doesn't like crying, but when everything is pressing down upon him, he can't help it.

He doesn't want this, he doesn't want people wanting him for their own, he doesn't. He doesn't even know why they do. But he doesn't want it and he wants them to stop and he wants to feel safe again.
